LCAA Jamboree versus Ida and Blissfield

On Wednesday, June 8, the Redwolves Track and Field teams traveled to Ida for an LCAA meet versus Ida and Blissfield. The boys won their matchups against both teams while the girls lost both.
Winning their events for the boys were Brenden Benschoter in the 100m. 200m, and the long jump, Gabe Manchester in the 3200m, the 4x100m relay team of Brenden Benschoter, Angel Rubio, Luis Piatt, and Nick Spicer, the 4x400m relay team of Eli Turner, Lucas Goodman, Eric Ramsey, and Luis Piatt, Mason Brodie in the shot put and the discus, Eli Turner in the high jump. With new personal bests for the boys were Angel Rubio (100m), Kaden Thompson (100m and discus), Nick Yang (100m), Nick Spicer (200m), Macray Connors (200m), Ethan Holmes (200m), Justin Celmer (200m), Tim Isyk (200m), Brody Wenn (200m), Hudson Miller (200m and 400m), Lucas Goodman (400m), Reed Patrick (400m), Joey Lombardo (400m), Lucas Goetting (1600m and shot put), Maurice Ames (100m hurdles), Peter Baker (100m hurdles and 300m hurdles), Brandon Johnson (shot put and discus), Gavin Swinney (shot put and discus), and Ben Jacobs (pole vault).
For the girls, the winners were Samantha Coots with a new PR of 2:28.6 in the 800m, Kaylie Livingston with a new PR of 105'-8" in the discus, the 4x100m relay team of Summer Chandler, Katelyn Baker, Madi McGraw, and Ashlynn Phillips, and Morgan Hill in the high jump. Also setting new personal bests were Madi McGraw (100m and 200m), Aby Ureche (100m), Peyton Young (100m), Aislin Tripp (100m), Caelin Major (200m), Lila Randall (200m), Tabitha Ureche (400m), Cylee Elkins (800m), Zoey Utz (100m hurdles), Morgan Huggins (300m hurdles), Gabby Cordova (shot put), and Emerald Sierer (long jump).
LCAA Jamboree versus Onsted and Madison

On Wednesday, April 24, the Redwolves Track and Field team traveled to Madison High School for a tri-meet versus Madison and Onsted. The mens team defeated Madison and lost to Onsted in the head to head matchups where the womens team lost to each of the two schools.
For the men winning their events were Lucas Goodman, Cole Hillegonds, Gabe Manchester, and Eric Ramsey in the 4x800 relay, and Mason Brodie in the shot put and the discus. Personal bests were set by Tim Isyk (100m), Joey Lombardo (100m), Eli Turner (200m), Broden Manchester (200m), Teddy Pizio (200m), Brody Wenn (400m), Lucas Goodman (800m), Gabe Manchester (800m and 1600m), Justin Celmer (800m), Zach Taylor (1600m), Reed Patrick (100m hurdles), Tyrus Hayes (shot put), Jack Morgan (shot put), Gavin Swinney (shot put and discus), Lucas Goetting (shot put and discus), Tyler Madigan (discus), Chance Maddox (discus). John Kayser (discus), Alex Packer (discus), and Sam Erickson (long jump).
For the women winning their events were Allison Bowles in the 800m with a new personal best time of 2:31.87, Kaylie Livingston in the discus, and Summer Chandler in the high jump. Personal bests were also set by Lila Randall (100m and long jump), Morgan Huggins (100m), Caelin Major (200m), Emerald Sierer (400m), Dalia Albashir (400m), Zoey Utz (100m hurdles), and Gabby Cordova (discus).
Bowles Sets Two School Records in One Day. Boys, Girls Split meet with Dundee and Hudson

Allison Bowles set two school records on Wednesday, April 17, first breaking the 1600m run record established in 1988 and equaled in 1991 taking first place by running a 5:24.87. She followed that up by winning the 3200m run in a school record 11:59.86.
In the team scores for the event, the boys team defeated Dundee 71-66 for their first LCAA victory of the season and lost a close contest to Hudson 70.5-66.5. Winning their events were Brenden Benschoter in the 200m and the long jump, Eric Ramsey in the 400m, Reed Patrick in the 300m hurdles, the 4x400 relay team of Angel Rubio, Luis Piatt, Eli Turner, and Eric Ramsey, Mason Brodie in the shot put and discus, and Eli Turner in the high jump. New personal bests were set on the day by Nick Spicer (100m and 200m), Broden Manchester (100m), Ethan Holmes (100m), Brody Wenn (100m), Eric Ramsey (800m), Justin Celmer (800m), Austin Strand (3200m), Tyler Madigan (shot put and discus), John Gilroy (discus), Kaden Thompson (discus), Landon Lakatos (discus), and Peter Baker (high jump).
In the girls competition, Clinton defeated Hudson 76-51 for their first LCAA victory of the year and lost to Dundee 80-57. In addition to Bowles' victories, Samantha Coots won the 800m, the team of Emerald Sierer, Bella Bannon, Cylee Elkins, and Samantha Coots won the 4 x 400, the team of Allison Bowles, Sarah King, Samantha Coots, and Cylee Elkins won the 4x800, Kaylie Livingston won the discus, and Morgan Hill won the high jump. New personal bests were set by Lila Randall (200m), Caelin Major (200m), Emerald Sierer (400m), Zoey Utz (100m hurdles), Isabella Szubielak (shot put), and Annabelle Howard (discus).
This Saturday, the Redwolves Track and Field Team travel to Jefferson High School in Monroe for the Jefferson Invitational. Field events start at 9 and the first race is at 11.
