In 8th grade girls Basketball action last night the visiting Tigers of Hudson out scored Clinton in the final minutes of game to steal the victory over the Redwolves. Coach Cornish was pleased to see her team battling to the vary end against the LCAA foe Hudson Tigers. Teamhights Makayla Whitehead led the Redwolves with 5 points and 2 steals. Zoey Varga followed with 4 points and 4 steals. Brailey Gibson had 2 points 2 steals Cora Harsh had 2 points with 3 rebounds Jackie Whiting also had 2 points with 3 rebounds, Natalie Ernst led the team with 4 rebounds.   Clinton now stands at 1-3 in the LCAA and will battle  the Onsted Wildcats at home on Wednesday.  

The Clinton 8th grade girls basketball team traveled to Blissfield to take on the Royals. The Redwolves were faced with a strong sharping shooting team and the Royals defeated the Redwolves 28-7. Team Highlights Natalie Ernst led the Redwolves with 7 points and 4 rebounds. Brailey Gibson had 4 points  2 rebounds. Lillian Trubiano had 2 points.   Clinton’s next home game is on Monday against the Hudson Tigers.

The Clinton 8th grade girls basketball team suffered their first lost of the season as the Columbia Central Golden Eagles defeat the Redwolves 7-26. Coach Cornish was pleased her team battling to the end but the Eagles aggressiveness was to much for the Redwolves to handle.   Team Highlights: Makayla Whitehead led the Redwolves with 7 points 2 rebounds and 2 steals Natalie Ernst had 5 points with 9 rebounds and 1 assist Lillian Trubiano had 2 points And Layla Freeman 1 point Clinton now stands at 1-1 in the LCAA and will battle the Blissfield Royal at Blissfield on Wednesday

The 8th grade girls basketball team won their first game of the season by defeating the visiting Dundee Vikings 23-7. The Redwolves tighten up their defense in the second half and only allowed  one basket for the Vikings. Coach Cornish was pleased with the teams aggressive full court defense during the 3rd and 4th quarters.   Team Highlights   Zoey Varga led the team with 8 points 3 steals 3 rebounds. Makayla Whitehead had 6 points 4 steals. Jackie Whiting had 4 points 3 rebounds. Layla Freeman had 2 points 2 rebounds Natalie had 2 points 4 rebounds and 2 steals Cora Harch had 1 point and 2 rebounds Clinton will travel to Ida on Wednesday to battle the Ida Bluestreaks.   Congratulations Team!
