DUNDEE COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: 7
The 8th grade girls basketball team won their first game of the season by defeating the visiting Dundee Vikings 23-7. The Redwolves tighten up their defense in the second half and only allowed one basket for the Vikings. Coach Cornish was pleased with the teams aggressive full court defense during the 3rd and 4th quarters.
Team Highlights
Zoey Varga led the team with 8 points 3 steals 3 rebounds.
Makayla Whitehead had 6 points 4 steals.
Jackie Whiting had 4 points 3 rebounds.
Layla Freeman had 2 points 2 rebounds
Natalie had 2 points 4 rebounds and 2 steals
Cora Harch had 1 point and 2 rebounds
Clinton will travel to Ida on Wednesday to battle the Ida Bluestreaks.
