COLUMBIA CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL: 26
The Clinton 8th grade girls basketball team suffered their first lost of the season as the Columbia Central Golden Eagles defeat the Redwolves 7-26. Coach Cornish was pleased her team battling to the end but the Eagles aggressiveness was to much for the Redwolves to handle.
Team Highlights:
Makayla Whitehead led the Redwolves with 7 points 2 rebounds and 2 steals
Natalie Ernst had 5 points with 9 rebounds and 1 assist
Lillian Trubiano had 2 points
And Layla Freeman 1 point
Clinton now stands at 1-1 in the LCAA and will battle the Blissfield Royal at Blissfield on Wednesday
