The 7th grade girls volleyball team defeated the Ida Bluestreaks in 3 straight sets 25-20, 25-21 and 26-24. The Redwolves connected on 24 good serve receive passes and 22 Ace Serves. Coach Cornish was pleased to see the team rally together to take down the Bluestreaks.

Gabby Cordova lead the Redwolves with 12 service points and 6 Aces
Avery Loftis had 9 service points 6 Aces and 1 Dig
Abby Martinez had 6 points 4 Aces and 2 Digs
Ashlynn Benschoter had 4 points with 1 Ace 1 Kill and 2 digs
Kylinn Long had 3 points 2 Aces
Kaylin Sposite had 3 points and 1 dig
Aislinn Tripp had 2 points 2 aces
Rillie Shepherd 1 point 1 ace
Abi Ureche had 1 point, 1 Kill
Emma Pask had 1 point and 1 dig
With the win Clinton raised their record to 3-1 in the LCAA and will compete in the Whitmore Lake Tournament on Saturday
8th Grade Volleyball
On Wednesday, September 29, the Clinton 8th Grade Volleyball team lost to the Ida Bluestreaks with scores of 15-25, 25-18, and 12-25. Megan Hammarberg led the scoring with 7 points (1 ace). Other contributors included Korynn Allen with 6 points (1 ace), Lydia Ormsby with 5 points, Gabbi Pearce with 2 points (2 aces), Layana Culver with 2 points, Cora Harsh with 2 points, and Riley Roberts, Morgan Hill, and Annabell Preston each contributed 1 point a piece.
Lydia Ormsby, Megan Hammarberg, and Gabbi Pearce led the team in serve reception against tough Ida serves. Megan Hammarberg led the team in assists. Morgan Hill played a strong offensive game registering 3 kills at the net, followed by Finnley Faulkner with 2 kills and Tabitha Ureche added 1 more. The Redwolves travel to Whitmore Lake on Saturday, October 2 for a Quad meet and are back on the road on Monday, October 4 to face the Onsted Wildcats. The Redwolves stand at 3-1 in the LCAA
