The Clinton 8th Grade Volleyball team lost to the Ida  Bluestreaks on Monday,  October 19 with scores of 25-20,  19-25, and 12-25.   Eden Frederick was the top scorer with 7 points and 5 aces.  Eden served an impressive 100% behind the service line.  Other scorers included Ashlyn Lehman with 5 points (1 ace), Kaylee Kranz with 5 points, Mieah Rodriguez with 4 points (2 aces), Emma Halchishak, Kam VanSickle, and Raven Aldridge all had 2 points and 1 ace, and McKenzie Pepper and Aby Freeman both added 1 point.  

Kaylee Kranz is this week’s offensive player of the game. Kaylee played aggressively at the net and recorded numerous kills on the night.  Lily Farmer is this week’s defensive player of the week.  Lily consistently was in the right place at the right time. From serve reception to digging up hits, Lily was working hard.  Eden Frederick is this week’s utility player of the game.  Eden had a tremendous night on the service line, she also defended the net well, and did a phenomenal job at serve reception and defense.   

Clinton will play their final game of the season at home on Wednesday, October 21 against the Onsted Wildcats.   The team is currently 5-3 in the LCAA.
