The 8th grade girls volleyball team opened up at home with a tough loss to the Whiteford Bobcats on Monday, September 9 with scores of 25-17, 19-25, and  22-25. Rebeca Ureche had an impressive 100% serving average and ended the night with 4 points. Other scorers on the night were Kyleigh Ramos with 7 points, Sammy Starnes with 6 points, Stella Starnes with 4 points, Robin Mull & Nalani Schanz both with 3 points, Kendall Phillip with 2 points and Chloe Drew, Cylee Elkins and Carly Bruno all with 1 point.  Chloe Drew, Robin Mull, and Rebeca Ureche had excellent serve reception and passing. Nalani Schanz, Stella Starnes, Kyleigh Ramos, and Chloe Drew led the team in assists. Stella Starnes led the team with 3 kills. Nalani Schanz and Kendall Phillips both had 2 kills and Cylee Elkins had 1 kill.    

The Redskins are 0-1 on the season and 0-1 in the TCC.  They host Summerfield on Monday, September 16 at 5:30 PM.
