Updated on 06/10/2022

Clinton junior 119 pounder Christian Minard crossed the 100 win mark Saturday January 20th. The win came in the team dual against Farmington. Minard got the 100th win with a pin in just 16 seconds. He is a returning state qualifier and with a season and a half to go we are confident he will add quite a few more before his career is over. Congrats Christian!

Assembly Duel Thursday, Dec. 21st at 1pm - Red Out

Updated on 06/10/2022
This Thursday, Dec. 21st the 5th ranked Clinton Varsity Wrestling Team will be hosting Monroe Jefferson in an Assembly Duel starting at 1pm in the high school gym.  Last year Clinton traveled to Monroe for an assembly duel and lost a close match.  Monroe Jefferson is consistently one of the top teams in division 2 every year and this year is no different.
The Clinton Wrestling Club is accepting monetary donations to support a LOCAL Clinton family in need this Christmas at the door for the assembly duel.
Also, we are asking students, staff, and spectators to bring non perishable food items that will be collected and donated to a local food pantry.
This event will be one of the most exiting and highly anticipated for our high school wrestlers.  A chance to compete at home in a packed gym!  Help us create this environment by attending, and help us give back to local charity by contributing.
The CWC is also going to be rewarding attendance for efforts ... 1.) Any HS STUDENT who attends and brings a non perishable food item will receive a ticket for a chance to at one of 3 $100 Visa gift cards.
2.) Any Clinton High School Faculty or Staff member who attends and brings a non perishable food item will receive a ticket for a chance to receive a $100 Visa gift card.

The assembly duel will be a spot light match with most of the lights out and the only lights on will be over the mat.  We will be handing out 200 free red glow sticks to the first students through the doors.

The band will be playing during the match to add to the excitement.

Brandt Clark will also be the announcer for the match.

With there being 14 matches for the duel against Monroe Jefferson, we will take a short intermission after the first 7 matches for the Competitive Cheer Team to perform one of their rounds as well.

The team is looking forward to your support  for the team and your support for our local families at Christmas.
