Clinton beats Beaverton 10-2 in complete game.  Renee Hoffman (18-0) was the winning pitcher, allowing 3 hits with 10 strikeouts in 6 innings.  (Shortened games due to possible weather).

Hoffman also led the offense, going 4-4 with a double, triple, and 4 RBI.  Mackenzie Amsdill was 2-3 with a double and RBI.  Rilee Szczesniak was 2-4 with an RBI.  Libbi Fair added an RBI triple, while Sam Renaldi added an RBI single.

Clinton beats Reese in Game 2, 10-4 in complete game.  Hoffman (19-0) was the winning pitcher, throwing the first 4 innings, allowing just 1 hit with 10 strikeouts.  Payton Hernandez came in for the last 2 innings, allowing 2 hits, 3 walks, and 4 strikeouts.  

Hoffman again led the offense, going 2-3 with a double, and 2 RBI.  Szczesniak was also 2-3 with an RBI.  Fair added a 2 RBI single, while Payton Hernandez and Sydney Amsdill each added an RBI single.

Clinton takes a close game 3 against Boyne City, 6-5 in the bottom of the 6th (shortened).  Hoffman (20-0) was the winning pitcher, allowing no hits, no walks, and striking out 8 of the 9 batters she faced in her 3 innings on the mound.  Payton Hernandez started the game allowing 5 hits, 3 walks, and had 6 strikeouts in 3 innings.

Rilee Szczesniak ended the game with a single, that forced an error allowing Hoffman to score from second.  She was 3-4 on the game with an RBI.  Libbi Fair was 1-2 with a double and RBI.  Hoffman was 2-4 with an RBI.  Payton Hernandez added an RBI double.

Clinton's record is now 29-1.  They will continue play in a pre-district game against Manchester on Tuesday in Grasslake.  Game time is 6:00pm.  They will then finish up league play with a double header against BD on Wednesday in Britton.
