COLUMBIA CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL: 1
Clinton beat Columbia Central 5-1. First goal of the morning Max Hampel crossed the ball and Garret Handy scored the goal 22 minutes into the first half. Merrik Gibson took a long ball shot to score with 17 minutes left in the half. With five minutes left in the half, Robenson Schaffner drove the ball down to the goal, passed and Kody Settles scored the 3rd goal. Second half Robenson Schaffner drove again, passed and Gavin Scott scored the 4th goal of the night. Handy took the ball down the field and scored with 13 minutes left in the game. CC scored with a minute and thirty seconds left in the game. Josh Schaffner, Weston Fortney, Nate Chavez and Bryce Wyman protected the back with Brandon Mannlein getting 4 saves. Clinton plays Thursday at 5:00 at home against LCS.
