The excitement was felt in the air when Clinton beat LCS 4-3.  LCS scored first 8 minutes into the game but a minute later Jalen Stelzer threw the ball in and Angel headed the ball in to make the game 1-1.  LCS scored again 10 minutes later and Clinton answered a minute later with a goal from Samson Schaffner who took a far out shot to tie the game back up.  At half the game was 2-2.  Clinton came out with fire and four minutes into the half Samson Schaffner crossed the ball to Angel Rubio who scored the 3rd Clinton goal of the night.  Mattis Riddle took the corner to find Max Hampel who headed the ball in a minute later.  LCS scored 7 minutes later.  Clinton held the win.  Aiden Blom had 6 saves.  Erickson, Stelzer, Turner, and Hillegonds played a great game of defense.  Hampel, Riddle, SSchaffner, and Manchester possessed, moved the ball and continued to defend LCS' midfield.  Clinton starts its district play on Wednesday at 5:00 at Jackson Lumen Christi.
