8th Grade Football VS Onsted
Updated on 09/26/2024
The 8th grade Redwolves kicked off their season at Wegner Field with an impressive performance against the Wildcats, winning 42 - 6 truly making a statement! Offensively, they were powered by a great offensive line. Key running backs included Joe Della-Badia, Bronson Whelan, and Wyatt Dehring, who all found the end zone. Quarterback Noah Jenkins threw two touchdown passes, connecting with CJ Mitchell and Noah Reid for big plays.
On defense, the Redwolves dominated, consistently stopping the Wildcats before the line of scrimmage. Seth Bird, Jack Frederick, Landon Lidster, and Chase Lewis made numerous tackles for loss, which resulted in huge turn overs for us. The secondary was equally impressive, with Matt Coughlin, Aidan Hall, and Grant Talaga providing excellent pass coverage and making some tackles, ensuring the Wildcats struggled to get anything going offensively. Overall, it was a stellar opening game for the Redwolves!
