Clinton takes 2 against Onsted on a busy night of celebrating their 6 seniors and going undefeated in LCAA their first year back.
Kendall Phillip wins game 1, throwing 4 complete innings in a mercy rule. She allowed just 1 hit, while striking out 7.
Clinton's offense collected 13 walks. Kendall Phillip was 1-2 with an RBI single. Libbi Fair was 1-2 with a double. Lily Thompson was 1-1 with 2 RBI.
Sydney Schuler was the winning pitcher in game 2 in 3 complete innings in an 18-2 win. She allowed 5 hits and had 3 strikeouts.
All 6 of Clinton's seniors played their final regular season game. Lily Thompson was 2-3 with a double and 2-run homerun. Eliana Dotson was 2-2 with an RBI. Chloe Houghton was 1-1 with an RBI. Libbi Fair was 2-2 with 3 RBI. Emily Gilroy added an RBI single, while Sydney Schuler added a double. Davia Welch added a 2-RBI single.
With Thompson's homerun, Clinton now ties the state championship team of 2012 with 30 homeruns on the season.
Clinton is now 23-7 and will continue play this Saturday at the Reese Invitational.

Clinton takes both games of the double header 8-1 and 11-2.
Sydney Schuler was the winning pitcher in game 1, allowing just 2 hits with 10 strikeouts.
Offense was led by Lily Thompson going 2-4 with 3 RBI. Emma Fair was 2-3. Libbi Fair added a 2 RBI triple, while Sydney Schuler added a 2 RBI double.
Winning pitcher in Game 2 was credited to Kendall Phillip, going 4 1/3 innings, allowing 2 hits, 2 walks, and 5 strikeouts. Sydney came in relief and finished the final 2 2/3 innings allowing 2 hits and 1 strikeout.
Offense started to come alive in game 2. Libbi Fair went 3-4 with a 2 run homerun, finishing with 3 RBI. Kendall Phillip was 3-4. Thompson added a 3 run homerun, and Schuler added a solo homerun. Emma Fair added a double.
Clinton will finish LCAA play on Tuesday home against Onsted. They will also honor their seniors on this night.

Clinton went 2-1 on the day, losing in the tournament finals 17-2 to host Chelsea.
Sydney Schuler gained 2 wins on the mound, winning game 1 vs Haslett 13-2. Schuler had 12 strikeouts, allowing just 5 hits in 6 innings of play.
Jaecy Jomes took charge of the offense, going 2-4 with 5 RBI. Lily Thompson was 3-4. Eliana Dotson was 2-4 with 2 RBI. Ava Ormsby and Chloe Houghton each added an RBI single.
Game 2 (11-6) vs Ida, winning pitcher was Sydney Schuler. Kendall Phillip started, going 3 innings, allowing 2 hits, 3 strikeouts, but struggled with 6 walks. Schuler allowed 3 hits, 3 strikeouts, and just 1 walk in the 6 inning mercy game.
Offense was led off by Jaecy Jones, going 2-3 with a pair of triples and 1 RBI. Libbi Fair was 3-4, with a triple and 3 RBI. Dotson was 2-4 with an in the park homerun and 3 RBI. Emma Fair was 3-4 with 2 RBI.
Clinton lost in the championship to host Chelsea in an unsettling 17-2 manner. Losing pitcher was Kendall Phillip, who started the game, and finished the game. Phillip gave up 6 hits, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts in 2 of the 4 total innings.
Offensively, not much was connecting. Phillip had an RBI double, Libbi Fair was 2-3 with the other RBI. Emma Fair and Chloe Houghton added a single a piece.

Offense was a team effort. Jaecy Jones was 2-3 with a double and RBI. Libbi Fair was 2-4 with 2 RBI. Lily Thompson was 2-3 with a 3 run homerun. Ava Ormsby added a solo homerun (her 4th this week).

Sydney Schuler was the winning pitcher in game 2, allowing 3 hits with 8 strikeouts in 5 innings.
Libbi Fair was 2-3 with a pair of doubles and 3 RBI. Lily Thompson was 2-3 with a double and 3 RBI. Jones was 2-2 with 2 RBI. Chloe Houghton and Phillip added an RBI single.

Clinton takes 2 from LCAA opponent Blissfield tonight.
16-5 in 6 inning mercy rule and 9-4 in night cap.
Kendall Phillip was the winning pitcher in game 1, going 5 1/3 innings in the 6 inning mercy rule. She had 7 strikeouts, 4 walks, and allowed 4 hits.
Despite Blissfield's lead early, Clinton's offense took charge... Jaecy Jones led off, going 2-2 with a 2 run homerun and 3 total RBI. Kendall Phillip was 2-3 with an RBI. Libbi Fair was 3-4 with a pair of doubles and 3 RBI. Lily Thompson was 2-3 with a double and 3 RBI. Ava Ormsby was 3-3, with a homerun and 3 RBI.
Clinton won game 2 with Sydney Schuler on the mound. She had 6 strikeouts and allowed 12 hits.
Clinton added 13 of their own hits, and out scored the Royals. Jaecy Jones was 2-3 with 2 RBI. Kendall Phillip was 2-4 with a double and 1 RBI. Libbi Fair was 2-4 with a double. Sydney Schuler was 2-4 with a double. Eliana Dotson added an RBI double. Ava Ormsby was on fire hitting not one but TWO homeruns, going 3-4 with 3 RBI. Ava is the first in Clinton history to hit 3 homeruns in a double header!
Clinton is 8-0 in LCAA and 11-4 overall. They continue LCAA play tomorrow at Hudson.

Clinton takes 2 from LCAA match up Columbia Central in a couple 4 inning mercy rule games. In both games Clinton hit a total of 5 homeruns, making 18 the team total.
Kendall Phillip was the winning pitcher in game 1, allowing just 2 hits (the first 2 batters of the game), with 6 strikeouts.
Offense was again, a team effort, generating 18 runs in 4 innings of play. Senior Lily Thompson took charge, going 3-3 with a double and a 2-run homerun, finishing with 5 RBI. Ava Ormsby was right behind her, going 3-4 with a 3-run homerun and totaling 5 RBI. Jaecy Jones was 2-3 with a triple and 2 RBI. Kendall Phillip was 2-4 with a RBI double. Chloe Houghton was 2-3 and Libbi Fair was 1-2. Eliana Dotson added a double and a RBI. Emma Fair and Sydney Schuler each added an RBI single.
Game 2 went very similar to game 1, with Clinton winning 16-1 in a 4 inning mercy rule. Sydney Schuler was the winning pitcher, allowing 2 hits with 6 strikeouts.
The offensive charge was a complete team effort. Jaecy Jones was 2-4, with a 3-run homerun, totaling 4 RBI. Kendall Phillip was 2-3 with an RBI. Libbi Fair added a solo homerun. Emma Fair was 1-2 with an RBI double. Chloe Houghton was 2-2 with 4 stolen bases. Eliana Dotson added a 3-run homerun, while Davia Welch added a double. Lily Thompson added a 2 RBI single.
Clinton is now 8-3 overall and 6-0 in LCAA play. They will continue their week in Sand Creek Thursday against their old TCC rival.

Game 1: Clinton -12 vs BC Lakeview -7
Kendall Phillip was the winning pitcher in what was a close game before Clinton's big 6th inning rally. Phillip allowed 4 hits and had 7 strikeouts.
Libbi Fair was on fire at the plate going 2-2, both doubles, and 1 RBI. Sydney Schuler helped in the 6th with a bases loaded double, scoring 3 RBI. She was 3-4 in the game with a total of 4 RBI and 2 doubles. Eliana Dotson was 2-3. Phillip hit her first ever homerun. Clinton's Jaecy Jones, Lily Thompson, and Emma Fair each added RBI singles.
Game 2- Buchanan 1 vs Clinton 0
Game 2 was a pitching dual until the 6th inning when Buchanan hit a homerun, which was all they needed in the game. Schuler allowed only 4 hits and had 3 strikeouts.
Libbi Fair was Clinton's only multiple hitter going 2-3 with a double. Jaecy Jones and Dotson were the only other two hits.

Clinton drops both games tonight 12-3 and 12-6.
Kendall Phillip was the losing pitcher, allowing 7 hits, 4 walks, 7 strikeouts, and 2 earned runs in 6 complete innings. Sydney Schuler came in for the 7th.
Offense was led by Libbi Fair going 3-4 with a solo HR and 2 of the team's 3 RBIs. Emma Fair was 2-4. Jaecy Jones had a double and Phillip and Lily Thompson each added a base hit.
Schuler was the losing pitcher in game 2, pitching 2 complete innings, allowing 4 hits, 2 strikeouts, and 1 walk. Libbi Fair pitched 2.5 innings, and Lily Thompson finished the game on the mound.
Offense leaders were Thompson, going 4-4 with an RBI double, Emma Fair going 2-2 with an RBI, and Emily Gilroy went 2-4 with a double. Eliana Dotson came in as a pinch hitter, hitting a 3-run homerun. Chloe Houghton had a triple, while Jones and Libbi Fair added singles. Despite out hitting Huron 15-11, Clinton couldn't put together the runs they needed. Clinton heads to Buchanan for tournament play tomorrow.

Clinton swept Dundee in the LCAA contest 16-6 and 16-8. Despite Dundee's early lead in both games, Clinton's offense took charge and never looked back.
Freshman Kendall Phillip earned the win in game 1, striking out 4, walking 1, allowing 6 hits and 3 earned runs.
The offense was in fire. Sydney Schuler led the charge, going 4-5 with a double, homerun and 4 RBI. Jaecy Jones was also 4-5 with a double and 2 RBI. Emma Fair went 3-5 with a double and 3 RBI. Kendall Phillip was 2-5 with a double and 1 RBI. Libbi Fair was 2-5 with a homerun and 3 RBI. Chloe Houghton was 2-5 with 1 RBI. Ava Ormsby was 2-5. Eliana Dotson came in as a pinch hitter, hitting a 2-run homerun.

Lily Thompson was the winning pitcher in game 1 of what was supposed to be a double header. Kendall Phillip had the start but needed relief in the 4th inning. Thompson gave up 5 hits, and had 1 strikeout in 2 innings. Sydney Schuler came in with the save in the 7th inning with 2 strikeouts.
Offense did their job tonight out scoring our opponent. The charge was led by Lily Thompson, going 3-3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI. Jaecy Jones went 4-5 with 2 doubles, 3RBI. Emma Fair was 2-3 with a 3 run HR. Libbi Fair was 3-5 with 2 RBI. Kendall Phillip was 2-5, with 1 RBI, Noelle Riley was 2-5 with 2 RBI, and Eliana Dotson was 2-5 with a RBI double.
Game 2 was called because of darkness and determined incomplete as only 4 innings were played. Clinton was winning 6-2.
