Clinton beat Gabriel Richard Catholic Central 8-0.  Ryan Tschirhart scored the first goal with an assist from Jalen Stelzer with 4 minutes left in the half.five minutes into the second half Ryan Tschirhart broke away and pulled right to pass the ball central to Mattis Riddle who took the ball in to score the second goal of the night.  Samson Schaffner won the ball wide and put the ball to Merrik Gibson to score two minutes later.  Two minutes later Ryan Tschirhart  found Parker Baughey at the post who put the ball on the opposite post to score the 4th goal of the night.  Tschirhart found the ball high, it bounced of some Pioneers and he finished on a volley into the goal. Tschirhart took the corner and Merrk Gibson headed it in to score number 6 of the night.  Tschirhart got the next two over the top break aways to score at 17 and 14 minutes to make the game 8-0.  The team played outstanding together.  Mannlien had 5 saves and his defense, Sam Erickson, Jalen Stelzer, Bryce Wyman, Brodie Stipe and Preston Cruz continue to protect the back.  Clinton advances to district finals on Saturday against Greenhills at 2:00 at Monroe St Marys Catholic Central.

Clinton beat Blissfield 7-1.  The first half was 0-0.  Clinton walked onto the second half with a renewed fired.  Parker Baughey set up Ryan Tschirhart to score 30 seconds into the half.  Mattis Riddle stole the ball off the drop from kick off and scored 20 seconds later.  Four minutes later Max Hampel passed the ball to Tschirhart who took the shot and scored making it 3-0.  Sylas Montgomery won the ball and passed to Tschirhart who scored one minute later.  Blissfield scored on a PK 9 minutes into the half.  Samson Schaffner put the ball wide to Robert McDonald who scored the 5th goal of the night.  Hampel put the ball through to Schaffner to scored with 22 minutes left.  Schaffner passed the ball to Tschirhart who scored the seventh goal of the night.  Brandon Mannlien had one save.  Sam Erickson, Brodie Stipe, Jalen Stelzer, Bryce Wyman, Eli Turner and Jacob Welch protected the back and moved the ball through to the midfield.  Clinton plays on Wednesday at home against Onsted at 5:00.

Clinton beat Blissfield 8-0.  Merrik Gibson started the night with the first goal with a pass from Ryan Tschirhart 6 minutes into the game.  A minute later Jalen Stelzer threw the ball in for Tschirhart to get the goal.  Max Hampel takes the shot and Tschirhart finishes it to get the third goal of the night.  With 10 minutes left in the half Sylas Montgomery sets up Gibson to score.  Gabe Bournes gets goal number 5 with 52 seconds left in the half.  After half time 7 minutes into the half Hampel to Tschirhart for goal number 6.  Sam Erickson gets the 7th assist while Gibson puts it in the back of the net.  Robert McDonald serves the ball in and Jalen Stelzer scores on a beautiful header to complete the game.  Clinton plays at Grasslake on Thursday at 5:30.

Clinton became the Jackson Christian Tournament champs on Saturday by defeating Jackson Christian 3-1 and Dansville 3-1.  In the Jackson Christain game Ryan scored with an assist from Mattis Riddle with 20 seconds left in the half.  After half Jackson Christian scored 6 minutes in to tie up the game.  With 15 minutes left Sylas Montgomery set up Parker Baughey to score the second goal of the day.  With 5 minutes left Ryan Tschirhart passed the ball from the corner to Parker Baughey to set up Ryan Tschirhart to score the third goal for Clinton.  Clinton made it into the final with Dansville.  Ten minutes into the game Mattis Riddle set up Ryan Tschirhart for the first goal of the game.  Thirteen minutes later Ryan Tschirhart set up Samson Schaffner to score his first goal of the season.  Dansville scored their first goal on a PK making it 2-1 at half.  Twelve minutes remaining Samson Schaffner set up Ryan Tschirhart to score the last goal of the tournament.  Sam Erickson, Jalen Stelzer, Bryce Wyman, Brodie Stipe and Preston Cruz protected the goal for the tournament with Brandon Mannlien having 11 saves.  Max Hampel, Merrik Gibson, Samson Schaffner and Mattis Riddle continue to move the ball onto the attack and win the ball back on the counter attack.  Clinton plays Monday at 5:30 at home against Blissfield.

Clinton lost to Ida 2-1.  Samson Schaffner set up Ryan Tschirhart to score 21 minutes into the game.  Ida tied up the game with 1:51 seconds left in the half.  Ida scored the final goal of the game with 4 minutes left.  It was a hard fought battle.  Erickson, Wyman, Stelzer, Stipe and Cruz all worked hard on defense to protect the goal.  Brandon Mannlien had 15 saves.  Clinton plays again on Saturday in the Jackson Christian Tournament.

Max Hampel scores the first goal of the night.  A shot is take from the mid field, Angel passes the ball and Hampel collects it and scores.  Parker Baughey sets up Ryan Tschirhart with another goal eight minutes later with 19 minutes left in the game.  A minute later Angel plays the ball to Tschirhart who scores his second for the night.  Tschirhart gets his hattrick off a free kick with 9 minutes left.  Jeffrey Dudek gets the ball in the corner on a clear from the defense, turns and takes the shot to the back top corner to score his first goal of the season.  Merrik Gibson puts the ball in in the last 3 seconds of the frist half making the game 6-1.  Mannlien had 3 saves at half as Gabe Bournes steps into the goal.  Leslie scores on a free kick with 26 minutes left in the half. The final goal of the game Hampel sets up Rubio to score his first goal of the night.    Bournes had 3 saves.  Erickson, Stelzer, Stipe and Wyman protect the goal and work the ball up the field.  Clinton plays again on Tuesday at Ida at 5:30.
