The Redwolves wrestling Red team traveled to Southgate Anderson to compete in their JV individual tournament. Saturday was a very successful day in which we had numerous placers and some career best finishes. The JV Redwolves also finished fifth as a team, which is a season best. Drew Mcnatt had a career best day finishing second. Austin Putnam had a strong performance on the day finishing second as well. Keegan Keith wrestled extremely well, tying a season best third place finish. Jonah Hahn and Jayden Duplessis had a very strong day, each placing fourth. Jake Halchishak and Shane Cook each battled for a fifth place finish. Chance Maddox wrestled solid on the day ending up with a sixth place finish. Cory Hoover took seventh on the day, placing for the first time in his wrestling career. Speaking of firsts, Tim Isyk in his first ever wrestling meet, fought hard and battled back from a first round loss to be the consolation champ. Brodie Wenn fought back from an early loss to finish consultation runner up as well. Lucas Coughlin, Lucas Goetting, Aiden Johnson, Griffin Bowers, Royce Martinez, Carson Ehnis fought hard on the day however, came up just short in placing. I am very proud of not only those who had career and season best performances today, but all of these young men have been working extremely hard and it is so exciting seeing them improve each week!
