The Redwolves wrestling Red team traveled up to Salem High School on Thursday to compete in their annual JV tournament. We had a very successful day all together in which each wrestler improved in one way or the other. Jake Halchishak earned a third place finish. Owen Wright fought hard for a fourth place finish. Chance Maddox had a strong performance on the day finishing fourth. Lucas Goetting battled hard finishing in sixth place. Keegan Keith battled back after an early loss, taking first place in the consolation bracket. Austin Putnam also battled back after an early loss, taking second place in the consolation bracket. Jake Halchishak recorded three pins on the day. Aiden Johnson and Keegan Keith had two pins on the day, Keith with three victories along with Johnson’s two. Lucas Coughlin, Owen Wright, Chance Maddox, Austin Putnam, and Lucas Coughlin recorded one pin on the day. Putnam, Maddox, and Wright won two matches on the day. Coughlin and Goetting each gutted out a victory. Griffin Bowers, Cory Hoover, Drew McNatt, and Carson Ehnis all battled hard, scored points, and improved on the day but came up just short of placing.
