Clinton wrestling continued the solid start to the season going 3-0 at Bedford on Friday night. The first dual was against Adrian and Clinton won 65-10. The second round was against Pinckney a 77-4 victory. To end the night Clinton squared off against the host school #6 ranked in D1 Bedford. The dual started at 135 with Nik Shadley getting an 11-3 major decision. Landis Gillman received a win via forfeit before George Ames won 9-4 to make the team score 13-0 Clinton. Bedford tallied wins at 152 and 160 to make the score 13-6. Spencer Konz won at 171 in the ultimate tiebreaker and then Brayden Randolph, Logan Badge, Brandon Felts, and Connor Younts all recorded pins to extend the lead to 40-6. Coy Perry at 112 won 5-0 and Connor Busz closed the scoring for Clinton with a 7-2 decision. Bedford won the final 2 matches to make the final score 46-15. Connor Younts, Coy Perry, Nik Shadley,George Ames, Spencer Konz, Brayden Randolph, and Logan Badge all went 3-0. Brandon Felts went 2-0 for the Redskins. The wrestling team is now 18-1 for the season.
