The wrestling team sent 14 wrestlers to the individual district tournament and left with 14 advancing to the Regional portion. You had to finish in the top 4 to move on. The Redskins had 9 Champions on the day and only lost 6 matches the entire day (2 were to a teammate). The 9 Champs were: 112 Brandon Beach, 119 AJ Baxter, 125 Noah Comar, 135 Spencer Konz, 140 Kent McCombs, 145 Riley Jeffrey, 160 Brayden Randolph, 215 Logan Badge, and 285 Will Felts. Second place finishers were 125 Christian Minard, 152 Jeff Konz, and 171 Cecil Rafferty. George Ames at 130 took 3rd and Garrett Phillips at 160 finished 4th. The individual regional portion is next Saturday at home starting at 9. The wrestling team travels to Memphis on Wednesday for the team regional portion looking for it's 3rd state regional title and 4th in the last 6 years. Wrestling starts at 5 Wednesday.
