Varsity wrestling finishes 11th in Prestigious Grappler Gold Tournament

The varsity wrestling team traveled to Lansing to wrestling in an individual tournament that featured several nationally ranked wrestlers and teams and finished 11th. The Redskins were led by senior Noah Comar who pinned Davison state champ Andrew Chambal in the finals to claim the championship. Aj Baxter finished 4th at 120 pounds while Ryan Phillips was 5th at 220. Will Felts was 6th at Heavyweight and Garrett Phillips rounded out the Placers by finishing 7th at 182. The Redskins will compete at Monroe-Jefferson High School on Wednesday before hosting the Wittenbach Alumni Duals this Saturday.
