The varsity wrestling team had an outstanding day in Fenton winning al 5 dual meets to claim the tournament. The first 2 rounds the Redskins won every match beating Farmington 83-0 and South Lyon 82-0. The third round against Imlay City was 59-17 before beating Caro 64-18. In the finals the Redskins faced the host school. Despite losing 2 of the first 3 matches and trailing 6-10, The boys ripped off the next 8 matches to put the dual away before getting to the final of 52-22. AJ Baxter, Brandon Beach, Noah Comar, Spencer Konz, Brayden Randolph, Eathen Hicks, Trent Sexton, and Don Stump all finished 5- 0 for the day. Christian Minard, Riley Jeffrey, and Cecil Rafferty got 4 wins. Anthony Stockdale and Jeffrey Konz won 3 times each. The wrestling team is now 26-4 on the season. The selection for the county meet on Friday takes place on Monday night and those selected will compete Friday at Adrian College.
