The varsity wrestling team took on Adrian Madison in a dual meet Wednesday night and swept all the matches for a 75-0 win. The dual meet started at 112 and AJ Baxter got the meet started with a pin in 2:17. That was followed by a pin from Christian Minard in 3:30. to put the Redskins up 12-0. Freshman Spener konz took the mat at 125 and won in an upset in overtime 2-0. That started a string of 4 straight pins and a forfeit for The Resdkins. The pins were recorded by Noah Comar in 1:06, Landis Gillman in 1:00, Anthony Stockdale in 2:21, and Riley Jeffrey in :42. Jeffrey Konz received the forfeit. That put the meet out of reach at 45-0. Garrett Phillips won a 5-0 decision at 160 and Cecil Rafferty came through with an 11-0 win. Eathen Hicks received a forfeit to make the team score 57-0. Trent Sexton recorded a pin in 3:13, Don Stump got one at the 2:07 mark before Alex Paquin got his pin at the 103 pound weight class to close the meet 75-0. The wrestling team travels to Grand Rapids for a dual meet tournament this Saturday. The win moves the team's record for the season to 17-2.
