LCAA Tri Meet at Madison with Hudson

On Wednesday, the Redwolves Track and Field teams traveled to Madison to compete against the Madison and Hudson. The girls team prevailed against Hudson 65-64 but lost to Madison 91-45. The boys also won versus Hudson 75-61 but lost to Madison 85-52.
On the girls' side, winning their events were:
- Ella Claus in the 800m in a personal record of 2:40.61,
- Sarah King in the 3200m
- Kaylie Livingston in the discus.
Second place finishers were:
- Claus in the 400m being barely edged about by Naika Rath of Hudson by 0.02 seconds to run a personal best time of 1:00.62.
- Grace Farrell in the 1600m (PR of 6:20.99)
- Katelyn Baker in the 100m hurdles,
- The 4x100 team of Lila Randall, Baker, Madelyn McGraw, and Leah Brown
- The 4x200 team of Abbie Wahl, Ruby Faulkner, Rylynn Gill and Zoey Utz
- Morgan Hill in the high jump
Third place finishers were:
- Bella Bannon in the 400m (PR of 1:04.94) and the high jump
- Utz in the 100m hurdles and the 300m hurdles.
- Khloie Miller in the pole vault
Personal bests were also set in the following:
- McGraw in the 100m (14.10)
- Randall in the 100m (15.10)
- Brown in the 100m (15.16)
- Peyton Young in the 100m (16.56)
- Miller in the 100m hurdles (20.13)
- Madison Moore in the discus (22'2")
For the boys, winning their events were:
- Brenden Benschoter in the 100m with a PR of 11.57 and the 200m
- Cole Hillegonds in the 400m with a PR of 53.38
- Mason Brodie in the shot put and discus
- Eli Turner in the high jump
Second place finishers were:
- Gabe Manchester in the 1600m and the 3200m
- Zach Taylor, Macray Connors, Peter Baker, and Eric Ramsey in the 4x200m
- Baker in the high jump with a PR of 5'10"
- Taylor in the pole vault with a PR of 10'6"
- Benschoter in the long jump
Third place finishers were:
- Austin Strand in the 1600m with a PR of 5:11.73
- Ben Jacobs in the pole vault
Personal bests were achieved by:
- Jacobs in the 100m (12.79)
- Brody Wenn in the 100m (12.93) and the 200m (26.68)
- Landon Lakatos in the 100m (13.08) and the discus (82'10")
- Anthony Solzano in the 800m (2:40.10)
