The Clinton girls moved to 3-0 on the season by defeating Ida 77-54. Clinton outscored Ida 29-11 in the field events, led by first place finishes from Mykell Brodie (shot put), Kelly Bowles (discus), Griffin Faulkner (pole vault), and Aubrey Lauer (long jump). 

On the track, the Clinton sprinters dominated the day. Lauer, Mia Struck, and Jaclyn Rickabaugh went 1-2-3 in the 100 while Brynn Frederick and Griffin Faulkner went 1-2 in the 200. The Redwolves continued their dominance in the sprints by going 1-2 in the 400 thanks to Samantha Coots and Ruby Faulkner. Ruby Sierer and Maliah Piatt (running the hurdles for the first time) went 1-2 in the 300 hurdles to help seal the victory for the undefeated Clinton squad. 

The Redwolves will face fellow undefeated LCAA foe Onsted in a tri-meet at Blissfield next Wednesday. The winner of the meet will have the inside track to the conference championship. 

The boys also earned a win against Ida and are now 2-1. We went 1-2-3 in the 100m dash with Grant Stockford, Carter Keith and Bryson Van Sickle, we went 1-2 in the high jump with Grant Stockford and Bryson VanSickle and we went 1-2 in the 3200m run with Gabe Nelson and Eric Neff. Other first place finishers were Isaac Peck in the 300m hurdles, Zak Shadley in the long jump, the 4x100 relay including Zak Shadley, Max Stitt, Nick Cymes and Grant Stockford and the 4x800m relay with Gabe Nelson, Matt Urbanczyk, Eric Neff and Gabe Manchester and the 4x400m relay.
