On April 23rd the CHS Track and Field program traveled to Whitmore Lake for our final competition at their facility before their league departure featuring the boys defeating both Sand Creek and Whitmore Lake, with the girls defeating Whitmore Lake, but losing a close one to the Aggies of Sand Creek. There were some outstanding performances from Matt Devitto, Todd King, Gabe Nelson, Ali Elwart, and Alyssa King in the distance races with our sprint core of Wylie, Langer, T. Underwood, and Deshano for the men and B. Underwood, Studnicka, Struck, and Burton for the scoring a lot of points and advancing our overall team effort.

For the field events Cooper Renaldi, Clay Langer, and Brandon Beach jumped their way into scoring positions in the high jump, long jump, and pole vault for the men as Conner Brodie, Matt Johnson, and Steven Posa found themselves taking control of the discus and shot put events. For the women Lena Korte, Mykell Brodie, and Emily Kirk took care of the shot put and discus events while Lindsey Burton, Megyn Arntz, and Mackenzie Brandvold scored points for Clinton in the long jump (Burton/Brandvold) and high jump (Arntz.)
