On April 12th the Clinton Redskins squared off against Tecumseh, Ida, Dundee, Summerfield, Michigan Center, and East Jackson in our annual Duane Pelz - CHS Invitational. The men's team finished 4th in the meet and the women 5th with some outstanding performances from both relays and individuals. Placing for the women were:

Shot Put: Lena Korte (5th) 29' 4.5"

Long Jump: Lindsey Burton (4th) 14' 9"

100m Hurdles: Karissa Westlake (5th) 19.10

3200m Run: Alyssa King (2nd)

Placing for the men:

Long Jump: Clay Langer (1st) setting both a new meet and SCHOOL RECORD at 21'7"

Shot Put: Conner Brodie (2nd) 41' 09"

Discus: Steven Posa (4th) 11'5' 04"

100m Dash: Trevor Underwood (3rd) 12.20

4x200 Relay: Underwood, Freeman, Wylie, Deshano (1st) 1:35.09

4x100 Relay: Underwood, Wylie, McCombs, Langer. 47.09

200m Dash: Noah Deshano (3rd) 24.27

The Redskins will open up TCC competition at Adrian Madison for a tri-meet with Madison on Britton-Deerfield on Tuesday the 16th.
