On Friday, March 22nd the Men's and Women's Varsity Track & Field team traveled to the Huron Relays hosted by Eastern Michigan University at the historic Bowen Field House. Met with exceptional competition from the 46 Division I, II, and III schools the Clinton athletes were able to compete in strong fashion and even earn some medals. Outstanding performers of the meet are the Men's 4x200 relay team of Trevor Underwood, Colton Freeman, Alex Wylie, and Noah Deshano placing second with a time of 1:38.47. In the long jump both Clay Langer (4th, 20'3") and Lindsey Burton (5th 14'5") found themselves leaving the arena with a medal. Exceptional performances from Trevor Underwood in the 60m dash, Conner Brodie in the men's shot put, and the entire male and female distance crew found themselves just outside of medal contention, but competing in great fashion against some serious talent.

Newcomers to the program including Brianna Underwood, Lena Kortie, Matt DeVitto, Mike Meeks, and Matt Urbanczyk did a great job forming the core of many relay teams as well as setting some personal records in the process.

The Varsity Track & Field Team's next meet is home on April 12th for the Duane Pelz - Clinton High School Invitational.
