A great showing for the Clinton boys and girls at the Burt Cebulski Invitational at Heritage Park in Adrian. With nearly perfect weather, small school Clinton stayed competitive in a big school field. Girls were 7th with 213 points and boys were 5th with 100 points.

Leading the way for the boys was freshman Gabe Nelson in 8th with a time of 18:58 followed by Nate Chavez in 13th at 19:26, Eric Briggs in 28th at 20:16, Tommy Burt in 30th at 20:19, Todd King in 32nd at 20:21, Steven Posa in 52nd at 22:14, Matthew Urbanczyk in 60th at 22:47, Brandon Beach in 65th at 23:42, Eric Neff in 71st at 24:02, Daniel Shovels in 75th at 24:59 and Bennet Zbikowski in 82nd in 27:06.

Alissa King crossed first for the girls in 28th at 24:21, Makayla Fletcher in 39th at 25:11, Emma Hampel in 60th at 27:40, Bri McNatt in 63rd at 27:54, Mia Hayes in 71st at 29:34, Maya Hillegonds in 72nd at 29:49, Ashley Bouse in 76th at 30:03, Chelsea Scheffler in 78th at 30:16 and Jordan Hurley in 84th at 34:25.

Overall Clinton Boys placed 5th with 100 points and the girls placed 8th with 213 points.
