The 7th grade team improved their serves against Madison, but they took a loss in the end. The scores were 14-25, 25-14, and 19-25. Leading scorers were Spohia Friske with 7 points (5 aces), Geonna Caballero had 7 points (5 aces),Paisley Kurowicki with 6 points (3 aces), Henley Wright, Makena Peters, and Aby Webb all had two points a piece and Karsyn Nicholson had one. The girls are working hard on their communication and serving. They take on Ida on Monday.
The 8th grade Lady Redwolves brought home their 4th consecutive win last night against Madison, taking all three sets: 25-7, 25-12, 25-23. The team did a great night working as a team for each point. Amelia Harsh, Jacy Brown and Madison Holcomb all had great serve recieve passing tonight. McKenna Hock and Mia Casey (1 kill) were aggressive with their blocking and hitting at the net. DeLane McKinnon had 9 points (6 aces) 3 kills and 1 dig. Addie Loftis also added 9 points (4 aces) 8 kills and 6 assists. Brooklyn Kranz had a great all around game with 6 points (4aces) 8 kills and 4 assists. Zoey Riddle did a wonderful defensive job passing tonight and also added 4 points (3 aces). Alyssa Piskorowski had an amazing night at the serving line contributing 7 points (4 aces). Kylie Hicks had a stellar all around game and served up 7 points (5 aces) and 1 dig. Josslyn Handy was strong at the net defensively but also added 2 points (2 aces). Layla Sisty and Ella Wollett had great hits at the net but also both contributed 4 points each at the serving line. The Redwolves next match will be next Monday, away at Ida.
