The 7th grade volleyball team came home with a win in their first game of the season. They lost the first set 23-25, but won the second and third with scores of 25-5 and 25-9.  Sophia Friske led the team with 15 points (6 aces). Geonna Caballero had 11 points, Makena Peters had 8 points, Karsyn Nicholson had 6 points, Paisley Kurowicki had 3 points and Madylynn Stratz had 2 points. Harper Wright had some great hits. Aby Webb was versatile in both the front and back row.  Elena Ochoa, Madison Hubbard, and Henley Wright all had great passes from the back.  The Redwolves head to Hudson on Wednesday, September 18!

The 8th grade volleyball team had a great start to their season, defeating Blissfield in all 3 sets, 25-11, 25-12, and 25-5. Brooklyn Kranz led the team with 18 points(10 aces) 8 assists and 5 kills, followed by Kylie Hicks with 10 points(5 aces) and one kill, and Addie Loftis with 8 points(4 aces) 8 kills and 6 assists. Zoey Riddle had 5 kills with 2 assists and Delane McKinnon had 1 point and 4 kills, while Mia Casey had 2 points and 2 kills. Josslyn Handy contributed one kill and 7 points (1 ace). Layla Sisty came in strong with 6 points (3 aces). Ella Wollett added 3 points. Alyssa Piskorowski (1 point), Jacy Brown (2 points), and Amelia Harsh (2 points) and Madison Holcomb, were all strong defensively in the back row. Great job Redwolves!
