The Clinton 8th grade girls Basketball team ran into a sharp shooting Blissfield Royal squad last Wednesday night as they defeated the Redwolves by the score 29-11.

Clinton was hitting their shots early in the first two quarters, but the Royals  quickly  added to their points. During the second half the Redwolves generated a few points off of their full court press, but Clinton didn’t have an answer for the Royals accurate outside shooting.

 Clinton now stands at 2-2 in the LCAA and will travel to Hudson on Monday

Lola Szczesniak led the team with 8 points 9 rebounds and 6 steals

Ashlynn Benschoter had 4 points and 2 steals

Kyra Henderick, Avery Loftis, and Morgan Huggins each made 2 points

Kaylin Sposite had 6 rebounds 4 steals and 1 point.

Nora Pelletier had 4 assists and 1 rebound
