The JV Redwolves volleyball team traveled to Dansville to compete in their 14-team tournament. After a long, 6-match day of play, the Redwolves came home with the championship! To start the day, the team faced Dansville, defeating them 25-18, and 25-7. Waverly was also taken down easily, 25-9, and 25-16. Their last match in pool play was against Leslie. Clinton handled them easily the first set 25-9, but fell short in the second set, 21-25. Even with a 1-set loss to Leslie, Clinton came out 1st overall in pool play. In the quarterfinals, the team faced Napoleon, and came out on top 25-11, 25-19. East Lansing was their opponent in the semifinals and the Redwolves defeated them 25-22, 25-19. In the finals, Clinton faced Fowler, who was the tournament champs last year. The Redwolves won the first set easily 25-16, but Fowler put up a fight in the second set making it a little more challenging. Clinton still came out on top, winning the final set of the day 27-25.  

Consistency from the service line helped Clinton have an edge against their opponents throughout the day. Lila Kennedy led the efforts with 54 points and 23 aces. Abby Sheneman contributed 32 points and Emily Farmer added 26. At the net, Rylee Pepper had a great day,  leading the team with 24 kills. Bella Bannon had 20 kills with Sheneman adding 18. Joslyn Kranz and Melanie Lukas followed with 17 each. In the back row, Ashlynn Benschoter worked hard, earning 46 digs on the day. Emily Farmer was next with 15 digs and Mya Popkey added 14. 

The JV squad maintains a 25-3 record as they head into the last few weeks of their season.
