The Clinton Redwolves JV volleyball team put on a show at their home quad on Saturday, August 25, delivering a series of impressive performances that saw them emerge victorious in all three of their matches, defeating Homer (25-22 and 25-13), Ypsi Lincoln (25-20 and 25-12), and Michigan Center (25-11 and 25-12).
The Redwolves dominated the net with powerful kills that proved too much for the defense to handle. Abby Sheneman (17) Rylee Pepper (15) and Zoey Utz (14) led the offense in kills. With pinpoint accuracy to their hitters, setters Emily Farmer (41) and Melanie Lucas (20) led the team in assists. Leading the way with service points were Farmer (26) and Lila Huston-Kennedy (21).
Making key saves and keeping the ball in play, the defense used their speed and quickness to keep opponents’ points off the board. Leading the way were Ashlynn Benschoter and Emily Farmer with 14 digs each.
After three play dates, the team maintains a 7-1 record.
