The Clinton Redwolves JV volleyball team had a spectacular showing on Friday, August 23, as they traveled to Napoleon for a series of matches. The Redwolves showcased their skills and determination, securing impressive victories against both Napoleon, 25-13 and 25-12 and Lumen Christi, 25-14 and 25-10.
Ashlynn Benscoter, Lexi Tzortzinis and Lila Huston-Kennedy led the defense with 13, 12, and 10 digs, respectively. The Redwolf offense was powered by Abby Sheneman - 9 kills, Erin Burton and Josie Kranz - 7 kills, and Rylee Pepper - 6 kills. Assisting in those kills were Emily Farmer - 27 assists and Melanie Lucas - 11 assists. Farmer - 25 and Lucas - 11 also led in service points.
The Redwolves’ successful day in Napoleon reflects their hard work and preparation. With standout performances across the board, the team has demonstrated their capability to compete at a high level. As they continue their season, Clinton’s JV volleyball squad will look to build on this strong performance and maintain their momentum.
