Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball at 2022 JV County Tournament

Clinton JV volleyball team participated in the 2022 JV County volleyball Tournament held at Morenci High School. The Redwolves found themselves on top of the Red Pool by defeating Hudson, Morenci, Britton-Deerfield, Adrian, and splitting with Blissfield. Clinton finished pool play with a 9-1 record and was seeded #1. During Bracket play the Onsted Wildcats advanced to the Semi-final round to battle Clinton. The Red Wolves started out hot against the Wildcats with great serving and great ball control. The Redwolves eliminated the Wildcats 25-19 and 25-19. With the win, Clinton made it back into the final round against the Green Pool #1 team, the Tecumseh Indians. The Redwolves continued with their hot start by controlling the net play with big blocks and kills to capture the first set 25-21. The second set was a complete turn around and the Indians won to push a third set. The championship set was a nail biter. It went back and forth with one great play one after another by both teams. But Tecumseh finished strong and won by 3 points over the Redwolves.

Ruby Faulkner had 29 service points 7 aces 24 kills and 14 digs
Korynn Allen had 26 points with 10 aces, 16 assists
Eden Frederick had 24 points with 9 aces, 6 blocks and led the team with 30 kills.
Megan Hammarberg had 22 points with 4 aces 6 kills 13 digs and 30 assists.
Jackie Whiting had 19 points with 3 aces 17 kills 14 digs and led the team with 32 assists
Brailey Gibson had 18 points 5 aces 9 kills and 5 digs
Finnley Faulkner led the team in blocks with 12 and had 1 kills
Annabell Preston had 18 digs and 16 serve receive passes
Annabelle Kerr had 18 serve receive passes and 13 digs
Clinton raised their record to 22-10-3 and will travel to Hudson for their last LCAA contest.
