Tonight, the Clinton JV Volleyball girls traveled to play against Lenawee Christian in their first game of the season.  The girls would battle in three hard fought games, losing game one 24-26, fighting from behind and taking game two 26-24, and taking it to a game three and coming out ahead winning 15-6.  The girl’s energy was up throughout the entire match, they served 97.4% from behind the line with only 2 services errors which is a great start to the season.  The girls played well together, and we’re looking forward to the rest of the season.

Tonight’s top players were Brynn Frederick leading with 9 kills, 2 blocks and 3 points.  Ruby Sierer had 8 kills, 2 blocks.  Samantha Starnes had 4 kills, 13 digs, and 3 points.  Stella Starnes had 5 kills, 5 digs, and 9 points.  Robin Mull had 9 digs, 5 points and 4 aces.  Kyleigh Ramos led with 19 assists, 13 points and 7 aces. Breanna Ramos had 3 kills, 3 assists, 7 digs, 5 points and 2 aces.

Next the girls will play their first home game against Columbia Central starting at 5:30 pm September 22nd.
