Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball vs. Multiple Opponents

Last night the Clinton JV volleyball girls traveled to Vandercook Lake to compete in a tri-match. The first match was against host Vandercook Lake. The first two games were very close with the girls pulling the win out 25-23 and then would lose 23-25 taking it to a third game and winning 15-10. The girls had some good saves and good plays in this match up. The second match of the night would be against Northwestern. The girls would start off strong and finish winning game one 25-19, the second game would be a back and forth point for point, but the girls would come up short losing 19-25. Once again, they would take it to a third game and would come up short losing 7-15. Overall the girls made improvements on their hitting and calling for the ball and being aggressive.
On the night the team was led by Taylor Randolph with 10 kills, 14 digs and 7 points. Emma Fair had 8 kills, 9 digs, 13 points and 6 aces. Josilyne Schanz had 7 kills, 3 blocks, 7 points and 5 aces. Brynn Frederick had 12 assists, 6 points and 1 ace. Breanna Ramos led with a team high 15 assists, 18 points, 4 aces and she was 100% from the service line.
The girls next game is Monday September 9th when they host Whiteford at home game starting at 5 pm.
