The Clinton JV girls basketball team could finally catch their breath after a close call against Onsted in a 28-19 victory during this LCAA match-up. Coach Frederick commented “We really struggled with our shot against Onsted and I give credit to them with their tenacious defense. However, Annabell Preston was able to keep us in the game by hitting key shots in both the 2nd and 3rd quarter. We eventually wore Onsted down with our traps in the 1-3-1 and able to pull away from them in the 2nd half.”
Mieah Rodriguez lead the TEAM in points with 14 while Annabell Preston contributed 7 points and 5 rebounds. Eden Frederick continues to dominate the boards with 14 total rebounds follow by Finnley Faulkner with 6. The lady Redwolves try to keep their streak alive when Dundee visits on Thursday.
