Traveling with the boys JV team and playing the second game of the night were two new experiences for the JV girls on Thursday night. After the boys' commanding win, they rallied together with the varsity girls team to form a phenomenal cheering section for the girls. They showed lots of heart and effort and had a surge of momentum early in the second half, but ultimately fell short 32-17. Leading the team in points and hustle was freshman Natalie Abram with 9 points. Emma Fair and Cassie McNatt each had 3 points and Sophia Sheneman added 2 points. They will travel to Sand Creek Friday night to cheer on the Varsity squads, and return the favor. Their next game is Tuesday, hosting Summerfield with a tip at 5:30.
