The Redskins opened up their 2018-2019 season on the road traveling to Manchester to face the lady Dutch. Facing a tough opponent on a large court in the first contest proved to be too much to handle for the young, inexperienced squad. Despite the final score, 49-9, the young ladies played hard and never quit. They will look to improve from every situation this season. Freshman Davia Welch scored the first bucket of the season for the squad. Sophomore Eliana Dotson had 4 points and classmate Chloe Houghton knocked in a three point basket to round out the scoring. The team will travel to Quincy for another non league contest on Thursday.
