The battle for the TCC championship lived up to expectations. After a very hard-fought contest including one overtime period, the Redskins came up short, 46-44. Even though it was a frustrating loss, the girls played well and left it all out there in the court. Coach Ruhl, parents and fans in the stands were proud of the girls. Even parents from the Trojans were complimenting the Redskins’ determination and heart. The first contest between these two teams earlier this season saw Madison beat the Redskins by 21 points. It shows how much the girls have learned and improved throughout the season! Lena Korte and Bri Underwood each had 11 points. Libbi Fair added 10 with 11 rebounds. Tricia Sebby had 5, Rory Kelly 4, Eliana Dotson 2, and Emily Evers rounded it out with 1. The loss drops their record to 13-5, 10-2 TCC
