The JV girls played host to a physical Morenci team on Tuesday night. Despite being outrebounded, the redskins came away with a 46-40 win. After starting out strong, winning the first quarter by a score of 14-4, the girls were out scored by the same margin in the second quarter to remain tied at halftime. Another strong third quarter was too much for the bulldogs to overcome. Leading the charge again for the lady redskins was Libbi Fair with 16 points. Lena Korte had 10 points and 6 rebounds. Rory Kelly had 6 points, while Tricia Sebby and Bri Underwood both finished with 5 each. Rounding out the scoring were Eliana Dotson and Emily Kirk with 2 points each. The squad is now 5-1,3-0 TCC.
