Not the results that we were hoping for at the Morenci Invitational on Wednesday, February 19th for our Clinton Comp cheer team. With only 6 teams in attendance, the Redskin girls placed 4th with a round one score of 185.9, round two score 171.22, and round three score of 222.5 after a penalty, giving them an overall 579.62 for the night. As the last regular meet of the season, it gave this team a lot to think about and to focus on going into our districts weekend. We are hopeful that the lower score drives them to push just a little harder and finish strong at Districts in Whitmore Lake on Friday, February 21st. Their dedication this season has proved that they are determined to continue to push through for their team and out perform themselves as often as possible, and this weekend with not serve to be any different.
