Saturday, February 1st, 2020 proved to be a nail bitter finish for the Clinton Competitive Cheer team at Tecumseh. The Redskin girls took third place with a final score of 625.84, only .56 points behind the 2nd place Blissfield Royal team score of 626.4. The tight race for second started in round one with the Clinton girls scoring 196.5 and the Royals scoring 196.6. The Royals took a slightly stronger lead in round two with a score of 183.8, and the Clinton girls scoring 177.74. Our Redskin girls buckled down and scored a 251.6 after an 8 point penalty in round three, beating the 246.0 Royal round three, but it just wasn't quite enough to clench the second place trophy.
