The Clinton Redskin Competitive Cheer team closed their season at Districts on Saturday, February, 16th in Whitmore Lake. With 15 teams in attendance, the Redskins held 7th place going into round 3, but fell to 10th place overall with a score of 569.76 after a 16 penalty points in round 3. Round one came in with their third highest round score for the season with a 183.2. Their round 2 score of 168.96 is their highest score for the round over the last two years. Before the penalties, their round 3 score was 233.6, again their highest score for the round, before deducting penalties, over the last two years. With only six athletes returning from the 2017-2018 season, this team of 11 girls displayed a lot of heart and determination to improve. Be on the look out for them in the years to come as they will only continue to get stronger.
