The Redwolves are 2 games away from clinching back-to-back LCAA titles with 2 wins tonight at Madison. Game 1: Kendall Phillip was the winning pitcher, allowing 6 hits with 2 walks and 12 strikeouts. Clinton scored in the first inning on a 2-out double by Raven Aldridge, scoring Phillip. The score was 3-0 in the top of the 6th when Kyleigh Ramos opened up the game with a 3-run homer. Phillip followed with a double, but Clinton didn%u2019t score again. Game 2 winning pitcher was Taryn Hernandez. She threw a 5 inning complete game allowing just 3 hits with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks. Clinton scored their 10th run in the bottom of the 5th, bases loaded and no outs, with a passed ball which allowed Phillip to score. Kendall finished 1-2. Brenna Broman put the redwolves on the board in the first inning with a 2 out, 2 RBI single. Annabell Preston led the offense with a bases loaded double in the 3rd. Clinton travels to Hillsdale to finish out league play and hopefully bring that title back home. This will be games 8 & 9 in just 4 days time!
