Clinton took 2 in their opener in LCAA tonight against Ida, winning pitcher in game 1 was Kendall Phillip going 6 innings, allowing 3 hits, 1 run, with 10 strikeouts. Lydia Ormsby came in for so mound time in the 7th, before Phillip re-entered for the last 3 outs. Offense was led by Sydney Schuler going 3-3 with a double and 4 RBI. Emma Fair was 2-2 with 2 RBI. Ava Ormsby and Kyleigh Ramos each added 2 hits apiece. Taryn Hernandez earns the shut out win in game 2 in a 3-inning mercy rule, allowing just 1 hit with 4 strikeouts. Offense combined for 12 hits, Schuler perfect again, going 2-2 with a double. Raven Aldridge is the first Redwolf to join the dinger board with a 2-run homerun in her first at bat. Emma Fair and Robin Mull were both perfect going 2-2 and 3-3. Clinton is 6-2, 2-0 in LCAA play.
