MADISON HIGH SCHOOL: 19
The Clinton 8th grade basketball team traveled to Madison Wednesday looking to improve their record to 3-0. As usual Clinton’s defense was strong throughout the entire game and held Madison to 19 while the offense put up 24 leading them to another victory. With 4minutes left in the game Clinton was up by 8 but a quick couple of buckets put Madison within 3. From there on it was a battle to the end with the score going back and forth. A couple forced turnovers and buckets by Clinton in the last minute allowed them to pull away and get the victory. Clinton faces Blissfield Monday looking to stay undefeated.
