JV Football defeats Mt. Morris 30-18

MT. MORRIS HIGH SCHOOL: 18

The JV Football team traveled to Mt. Morris and came home with a convincing 30-18 Victory. Braylon Long scored from 5 yards and 3 yards out and had 11 carries for 52 yards. Bryce Randolph was the work horse rushing for 112 yards on 19 carries and led the defense with 9 tackles. QB Colt Perry was 3/3 passing for 36 yards and 1 TD pass to Cade Brighton. Clifford Jones had 1 catch for 14 yards to convert a critical 3rd down in the game. Brenden Benschoter was a force on offense with 8 carries for 75 yards. The defense was led by Randolph , Brighton and Hamza Rafferty who had a fumble recovery for a TD !

JV Team evens their record at 1-1 and will travel to Ida next Monday for a 6pm kickoff.
