On Friday evening the JV Redwolves looked to redeem a loss earlier in the week. The Redwolves started great on both ends of the floor jumping out to an early 19-9 lead at the end of the first quarter. Multiple people contributed offensively and the team as a whole had stifling defense. Cole Hillegonds had an 8 point quarter to jumpstart the offense. The second quarter offense slowed only scoring 10 but only gave up 6 points with the group effort on defense. Heading into halftime the Redwolves were up 29-15. The third quarter was a little bit of a flipped script, the defense started to lapse and let the Hornets claw back within ten in the third quarter. Owen Barnhart led the way offensively in this quarter scoring 8 of the 9 points in the quarter. Despite the bad third quarter the Redwolves still led 38-31. In the fourth quarter the team bonded back together and finished strong scoring 23 points in the final quarter. Overall the boys played as a group and played well enough to cover up some mistakes, which is a testament to them as a team. When it matter the most the boys rose to the occasion and Finished with a score of 61-44. Cole Hillegonds led all scores with 16 points, Owen Barnhart also had 14 points. Dacari Garrison, and Brandon Ruhl had 6 points. Max Walden had 5 points, Cyle McLeod, and Zack Andrews had 3 points. Daejuan Garrison, Paul Blanchard, Zeke Turner, and Jacob Pizio added 2 points. The JV Boys are back in action Tuesday December 10th at Madison High School!
