The boys JV basketball team took on the Hornets of Hillsdale in a LCAA make-up contest on Monday evening. The team was able to come out with a 52-46 victory to improve to 12-3 and 8-2 in the LCAA. 

With the score 41-30 headed to the 4th quarter and the Redwolves having control of much of the game through the first three quarters, the team would rely on free-throws to stave off the hard charging Hillsdale team in the 4th quarter. In fact, Clinton would not make a field goal, but would shoot 11 for 14 from the free-throw line to account for all of the team's 4th quarter points. Meanwhile, Hillsdale was relentlessly trying to close the gap. At one point, Hillsdale had the ball down just three points in the final minutes of the game, but that is a close as they would get. 

Louie Della-Badia led the team on the night scoring with 15 points, including going 7 for 8 from the free-throw line in the 4th qauarter. Ronan Stelzer added 14 points and Cole Hillegonds also reached double figures, finishing with 11 points. Dacari Garrison chipped in with six points. Owen Barnhard and Jacob Pizio rounded out the scoring for Clinton with four and two points respectively. 

The team will be back in action Thursday as they host the Dundee Vikiings.
